If you are impressed by the ability of women who can and do wear four inch heels, prepare to be astounded by this clip of women in the Berlin Stiletto Run 2007.  Hosted by Glamour magazine, the race shows one hundred women sprinting 100m down the street in scarily high - not to mention spindly - heels.

When you realize the winner hobbles away with 10,000 euro to spend on new clothes (and possibly ankle surgery), it makes little more sense.  But they’re all still crazy!

When was the last time I wore a heel over one and half inches?  I honestly can’t remember.  That goes to show how much I abhor wearing heels.  I am blessed to have feet with high arches so when I do wear them, it’s not that brutal.  For my friend Ashley’s wedding at the end of this month, I want to find a new dress and shoes to match (not matchy match, just match…ladies you know what I mean).  And I’m thinking the shoes will be heels.  Even after watching this video.  And cringing.
